How do I download ScanMyPdf?
ScanMyPdf installs straight from your browser, no app store needed. After you create your account, tap Install in the app (Chrome, Edge, Android) or Share → Add to Home Screen (iPhone and iPad Safari). It then opens like any other app and works offline.
What happens when my 7 days end?
You'll be asked to choose monthly or yearly. Your files and notes stay on your device either way, and they're there when you subscribe.
Do you upload my documents?
No. Scanning, OCR, search and highlights all run on your device. We store your email address and subscription status, and payments are handled by Stripe.
Is redaction permanent?
Yes, in the copy you save. ScanMyPdf rebuilds each page without the content under your redaction boxes, so the words can't be searched, selected or copied. Your original file is kept unchanged so you can redo it.
Can I add Bates numbers?
Yes. Open Markup, tap Bates, and set the prefix, start number, digits, position, size and color. Numbers appear on every page and are burned into the copy you save.
Which languages can it read?
English text recognition is built in. More languages are on the way.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Manage or cancel your subscription from the app's billing page; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
